Why is it called "Medieval/Fantasy Role Play?"
Frankly, I just didn't want to attract a certain kind of element that may come with just saying "Fantasy Role Play." Contrary to what some of you may be thinking, the chat room is NOT pornography. It's a bunch of people having fun with pretend characters to escape their everyday lives.
Which brings me to the moderation policy. I'm (Lia) here if you have any complaints; the contact buttons are always operational, and you can always e-mail me. I will warn and even ban someone who bothers you excessively, because I want my citizens to be happy.

If you don't know what a newbie is, you probably are one.
Mirabellia is a city built upon the ideas of role-playing. If you've never role-played before, it may look more difficult than it really is, but once you get the hang of things, everything falls into place.
You've read books before, right? Of course you have. The people in the books are called characters, to be incredibly basic. The people in our chat rooms are also characters, some from books, some from things that they have written, and some just from someone's imagination. These characters have thoughts, actions, feelings, and words that don't necessarily belong to that of the person who typed them, otherwise known as that character's mun.
Simple enough, right?
If you're unclear about anything, let someone in our chat room know. We are all happy to help you out in any way that we can. At least I am...
By the way, you don't have to be medieval if you don't want to, and you don't even have to be fantasy. The kinds of characters you can have can be human, fairy, elf, and anything your mind can come up with.
Role playing chat rooms like ours are especially good for writers because they help form three-dimensional characters with thoughts and feelings a writer never knew their characters were capable of. The effects are amazing on your style of writing (I myself am testimonial to this).
To help you create a character, just grab a pen and a piece of paper and answer these questions:
1.) Is your character a boy or a girl?
2.) How old is he/she?
3.) What race is he/she? (Ex. sprite, elf, human, etc.)
4.) Does your char have any special powers? (Ex. telekenesis, levitation, etc.)
5.) Where does he/she come from? (Ex. a forest, a village...)
6.) What happened to your char. before you created it? (Its history)
7.) Why is he/she here? (Their purpose in life, or why they've chosen to reside in Mirabellia)
8.) And of course, you can't forget the quirky personality traits that make your character a unique person. Think of he/she as a real person sometimes; it helps.
Then BOOM! You have your char! Yay! Now join Mirabellia (if you haven't already) and use it in our chat room! I'm sure there are still SOME of us who don't dislike newbies...
